According to Thule, none of their trunk mounted bike racks are a fit for your 2012 Nissan Leaf, as the glass hatch does not make a suitable attachment point for the upper hooks of their racks, including the OutWay # TH45JV bike rack you've asked about.
Yakima offers the Fullback 2 bike rack, part # Y02634 that uses special glass hatch attachments that would allow the rack to be used on your vehicle.
To carry women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # Y02531 is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
