What is the Difference Between the Demco 6194 and Demco 6333 OEM Puck Adapter

Question:

Ive got a 2021 Silverado 2500HD with the standard short bed with OEM 5th wheel towing prep. It looks like both the BM6333 and DM6194 both do the same thing. Does one have an advantage over the other? I have a Reese 5th wheel hitch with slider. Thanks.

You will want to use the Demco # DM6333, which has been confirmed to fit in the 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed with the OEM prep package. The Demco # DM6194 has been confirmed for use on Chevy/GMC short bed trucks with the prep package, but it is not compatible with the puck system in the 2021 short beds. The difference is just that the # DM6333 is designed to fit the newer OEM puck packages, where the # DM6194 is designed for a bit older trucks.

This adapter can be used with your Reese sliding hitch that mounts in industry standard 5th wheel base rail kits.
