Will C16022 Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Sliding Hitches Fit in Pucks on Long Bed 2018 Ram 3500
Question:
I have a curt 16525 on an R5 roller slider, used it in a standard bed truck. I recently purchased a 2018 ram 3500, long bed with hitch prep package. This adaptor says for 6.5 beds. Will it fit in a long bed? I know I dont need roller in the long bed, but, would rather use the hitch I have than spend $1000 for a new one. thanks

The Curt # C16022 roller adapter rails will work in a long bed truck. The only reason for the caveat about the 6.5 foot bed trucks is because sliding hitches aren't typically used in long bed trucks.
The adapter is compatible with # 16516, # C16521, # C16541, or # C16546 Curt E, A or Q series 5th wheel hitches.
As long as you keep the slider in the forward-most position at all times, the hitch and adapter will work fine in your long bed truck.
