Looking for 7500 lb Rated 2 Inch Ball Mount With 5 Inch Drop
Question:
I am looking for something like this Item# 2753 but with a 5 . Seems pretty easy to find a 4 or 6 . I had been using a 3 1/4 but have added air springs to my f150. If I could find a 5 with a ball mount for a class III 2 receiver and 2 ball that would be ideal. Seems like there is one with a5 but only rated for 5000 pounds. My boat and trailer I believe are just over 5000 pounds. Thanks

We don't offer a ball mount with a 5 inch drop, but as long as the ball mount you use puts the trailer within 1-2 inches of level, you'll be perfect. Ideally, you would want the trailer frame to be perfectly level, but this is one of those cases where 'close enough' will work just fine.
When you hitch your trailer to the # 2753, you'll be about one inch higher than you'd like, but you'll want to consider that the rear end of the vehicle will settle a bit from the trailer's tongue weight, so you'll probably end up closer to level than you think.
The # 2753 would work well for you. The hitch pin and clip are included, for a 2 inch trailer ball, use # 63845.
