I attached a link to this page that covers everything you'd need to do and find out to add brakes to a trailer like your 2018 Trail Star.
Since you have brake mounting flanges that's a really good sign as that's normally the big sticking point as they are somewhat difficult to install. Other info that will be needed is the axle capacity and the wheel bolt pattern for your trailer wheels and the rest I/we can piece together.
I also attached a help article on determining wheel bolt pattern as well.
