If you are asking if you can tow a 5177-lb trailer with a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 without the use of a weight distribution system, then that depends on your Silverado's hitch capacity. The lowest aftermarket ones have a max capacity of 6000 pounds, so you should be fine. Removing your weight distribution system and using a ball mount like part # EBMK4 will be enough to get your trailer that two miles. I've linked to a video review of that ball mount.
If you are asking if you can use the head of a Husky Centerline weight distribution system, then the answer to that is yes. This is definitely possible. Of course, if this is something you plan on doing often, I would still recommend looking at a ball mount since it would be much easier to switch out the entire WD system with a ball mount rather than un-attach and re-attach the arms constantly.
