In order to mount a fifth wheel hitch on a 70's Ford Pickup you'll have to use a universal install kit, the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit part # RP30035 comes with everything needed to mount a fifth wheel hitch that uses industry standard above bed rails.
