Correct Tire Chain Adjuster for Use on Glacier Tire Chains for 2012 Subaru Impreza, Part # PW1038  

Question:

Is this the right part for the Subaru Impreza with 17-inch wheels. This is the part recommended in the video, but on the description of the part it states it is for 14 inch to 16inch wheels. Thank you.

Your first step is to check your owners manual for any guidance concerning use of tire chains on this vehicle.

The # PW100 rubber adjusters/tensioners are designed for wheels sized 12 to 16 inches. The # PW99 rubber adjusters/tensioners are designed for wheels sized 16-1/2 to 19".

For your vehicle,, with 17 inch wheels, I suggest the PW105 adjusters designed for wheels sized 15 to 18 inches.
