Will the 6K Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit Cause Tires To Come In Contact With Each Other
Question:
Thinking about upgrading my leaf spring suspension components with the Dexter K71-652-00 kit. My trailer tires are only 1.5 to 1.75 apart. Will the rubber bushing on the equalizer allow the axles to walk back and forth allowing the tires to come in contact? Is there a minimum clearance spec for this system? The Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit part # K71-652-00 is designed for trailers with a 33" axle spread. The equalizers do have built-in cushioning which is how it offers shock absorption but the degree of movement in the axle is not anything that could cause the tires to come into contact with on another so there should be no issue here.
