The Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # DM8550045 is what I recommend using to convert a gooseneck hitch into a fifth wheel. It will attach directly to the hitch ball in the bed and then allow for a kingpin to be coupled. It will work with any gooseneck hitch that uses a 2-5/16" hitch ball. The wraparound jaw design provides constant contact which will make for a smooth ride and the adjustable hitch head height setting allows for compatibility with a wide range of trailers.
