Options for Carrying Step Thru Bike with 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
Other than a hitch mounted rack, does there exist a rack that can carry a step-through bike without using an adaptor bar? Currently have a 2018 Subaru Outback Limited and 2 step-throughs - a trek Pure and a sixthreezero EVRY Journey.

Since there isn't a trunk mounted bike rack that fits your vehicle that can carry step thru bike frames without a frame adapter your best options would be either a platform style bike rack that would fit in a hitch or a trunk rack and a frame adapter. Between the two I really prefer the hitch racks as you get a much more secure attachment and it doesn't touch the vehicle paint which prevents potential for damage.
If you had a hitch installed like the Draw Tite # 76227 that fits your vehicle you could use the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider part # HR200Z and you'd be set.
Or you could use the Thule Trunk Rack # TH911XT on your vehicle with a bike frame adapter bar # UB01.
