Troubleshooting ER Error Code of Prodigy P2 Brake Controller
Question:
I bought a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 brake controller from ETrailer at the same time as the WDH w/sway control Curt 17500. The brake controller is now flashing Er, which I am told means an internal error. Im at work, but my husband will check it tonight. What are some things that could possibly be causing this error?

Sometimes an internal bug causes the P2 # 90885 to have a temporary internal issue which causes the code mentioned. What I would recommend is temporarily unplug the controller and plug it back in. This would allow the controller to reset. If the problem goes away you'd be good but if it comes right back then it would be time for a new controller.
