E-Bike Rack For Single Bike Use
Question:
Will the stock Saris Freedom 2 fit my Specialized Como 2.0 Ebike? I do not intend to use rack for two bikes, just this one. Will use outside set of holders so as not to have to lift bike over vertical bar, OK?thank you

Yes the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes Frame Mount Part # SA4412B will work by only using the outside wheel trays and frame mount. As a side note, loading a single bike on the outside tray away from the vehicle is not recommended. It is best to have the weight closer to the vehicle. It will work, but is not the suggested way to use the rack.
Since your main objective is to only use the bike rack for a single e-bike, I suggest the RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo Bike Rack for 1 Bike - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # RKY87RR. It is a single bike carrier that can accommodate the weight of your e-bike and has a wheel mount that makes loading and unloading easy. It also has a folding feature so when it is not in use, it can fold nicely against the back of the vehicle.
Below I have added video reviews of both bike racks!
