Husky Towing states that the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control Part # HT32217 can be used on a 2"x5" aluminum frame trailer. There aren't any known issues in doing so, as long as you have to appropriate tongue weight rating of 600 lbs. - 800 lbs., and maximum gross towing weight of 8,000 lbs. The trailer and its cargo loaded is the weight that needs to be determined when choosing and using the appropriate system.
As an added security measure, I would contact your trailer manufacturer to get confirmation if this specific trailer can use a weight distribution system.
