Yes, use the Pollak # PK11893 replacement connector socket to replace a broken socket on your 2005 GMC Sierra HD. The wiring harness under under your truck that connected to the back of the broken socket simple unplugs from it and plugs into this new socket.
If you need a mounting bracket you can use the Pollack # PK12711U.
