Recommended Air Bags for 1997 Ford F-250 with B&W Gooseneck Hitch In the Bed

Question:

I have a 1997 f250HD with a BandW gooseneck hitch. I know alot of air bags will not work because of how they are mounted. Is there an inside the frame rail air bag setup for this truck? Or what would be my best option as an alternative, I tow a 22k gvwr 16ft gooseneck dump trailer often, and when the trailer is empty it squats pretty bad. It has new shocks and new leafspring were installed about 2 years ago. Thank you

You can use the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88298 with an in-bed hitch system like your B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck hitch # BWGNRK1110 (with overload springs) or # BWGNRK1100 (without overload springs) since they install away from where the Gooseneck brackets do. I really like these AirLift bags since they have an internal jounce bumper that provides additional support and protection for the bags in the event of a malfunction. These will do a great job at helping fight the squat you're seeing.

To keep your AirLift system inflated I recommend adding the Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System for Air Helper Springs- Heavy Duty - Dual Path # AL25856, which will inflate the bags individually and give you control from your truck's cab. This system has easy to read analog gauges and comes with everything you need to connect it to your new air bags.

I've linked some review videos of all of these for you to check out.
