Typically the starting watts required for a 15000 BTU air conditioning unit like the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box, Start Capacitor, and Heat Strip - 15,000 Btu # ACM150CH is 5100w, but the built in start capacitor helps store power to allow you to start the unit when there isn't enough supplied by shore or generator power. So you will be able to use your Honda EG2800i generator with this unit.
