Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2018 Jayco 34RSBS Travel Trailer

I’m looking for a hitch for the back of my 2018 Jayco 34RSBS travel trailer. Needs to be able to hold a bike rack or a basket that holds a generator.

As long as the frame on the back of your 2018 Jayco 34RSBS is between 18"-51" wide I recommend the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13701 which is designed to work with either Box frames, C-Channel frames, or I-Beam frames and the adjustable brackets will allow you to located the receiver in the best spot for your trailer.
The Curt # C13701 has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 500lbs which is more than enough to support a bike rack or a generator, but you will want to check with Jayco to make sure the frame on your trailer will be able to support that much weight, and use the lowest rating between the trailer and the trailer hitch receiver.
You will want to make sure that the bike rack and basket you are using are rated for use on a travel trailer as the additional bouncing on the back of the trailer can cause a standard bike rack to fail.
A great option for a bike rack rated for use on a travel trailer is the Swagman XP - 4 Bike Rack # S64940 which will accommodate 4 bikes weighing up to 35lbs each.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
