Installation Process for Timbren Springs on 2021 Thor Chateau 27R
Question:
In re: 2021 27r Thor Chateau Rv on Ford E450 chassis. Interested in front and rear Timbrens as recommended by you. 1. Will I have to jack up the motorhome home? 2. Will I need spacers? 3. If so, what size? 4. Why Sumo springs not recommended?

I'll start off by saying that currently there are no SumoSprings that have been confirmed to fit on the 2021 Thor Chateau 27R, so that's why there are not any showing up in our fit guide for your coach. However, the Timbren # TFEF350UH and # TFERSDLB are a good choice that will provide the same functionality and perform comparably. The Timbrens are also a progressively strengthening spring like the Sumo Springs in that they get stiffer as loads are applied to them; they also provide the same type of leveling assistance while working to fight body roll and sway.
During installation the axles will need to hang freely, so you do need to jack the RV up, but you shouldn't need any type of spacer during installation. These do come with custom fit brackets and will replace your factory bump stops, so no drilling is required during installation.
I've linked the installation instructions, as well as our review videos of these parts for you to check out.
