Recommended Tongue Weight Scale For Trailer With Weight Distribution Hitch Installed

I am looking at the Etrailer hitch scale and the Sherline hitch scale. I have a propride hitch and was wondering which one will work best.

Both the Sherline Trailer Tongue Weight Scale # 5780, and the etrailer Tongue Weight Scale # e99044 will accurately measure the tongue weight on your trailer as long as the tongue weight is less than 2000lbs.
With that said I prefer the etrailer # e99044 due to the fact that it is taller and wont require you to add wood or cinderblocks to raise scale to the coupler of the trailer like the Sherline # 5780, but also since the etrailer can be attached to the jack of your trailer which is useful for you since you have a weight distribution system installed.
Either of these options will work with the propride weight distribution system on your trailer, but you will need to measure at the jack of the trailer instead of at the coupler due to the weight distribution system being installed. As long as your jack has a 2" inner tube the etrailer # e99044 can be attached to the jack, but you will want to remove it once you have your tongue weight measurement as it is not intended to be left on the jack for storage or travel.
