The Thule # TH9042PRO Helium Aero should work well for most 16 inch children's bikes. To determine if your particular bike will fit, measure the length of the top tube. The arms of the Helium Aero are 13-1/2 inches apart, measured from the outside edge of each cradle that holds the bike's top tube. As long as the inside length of the bike's top tube is greater than the 13-1/2 inches, the bike will fit.

Since the bike would need to be pretty tiny for the top tube to be shorter than 12 or 13 inches, your bike will most likely fit on the rack.

To carry women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # 64005 is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
