Recommended Cost Effective Tow Bar and Base Plates for 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk

Question:

Can the Tow Ready Adjustable Bar #63180 be used on a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk? Doing this the another method is much more expensive. Probably tow 4-5 times a year at 60-65 mph. The fancy tow bars are nice but too expensive.

The most cost effective tow bar setup we offer for a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk will be the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit part # RM-521451-4 with the Roadmaster Tracker Tow Bar part # RM-020. This would be an okay option for occasional towing but upgrading to the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar part # RM-520 would be well worth it if you plan to increase use.

The Tow Ready Adjustable Tow Bar part # 63180 would not work at all, it would require a steel bumper to attach and this would require welding or drilling.
