Extended Ball Mount For A 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
We have a 2017 Subaru Outback. Have a frame mounted hitch and need a receiver for a ball that allows the ball to sit farther away from the rear bumper. My current receiver measures 9" from the inner most edge of the receiver to the edge of the ball mount. Something nearer 11 would be ideal.

For your 2017 Subaru Outback needing more spacing between the bumper and ball mount I recommend using the Draw-Tite Ball Mount - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 10-1/2" Long - 6,000 lbs Item # 40343 along with the 2" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter x 2-1/8" Long Shank - Chrome - 7,500 lbs Item # 63845. Having 10-1/2" should give you plenty of clearance between the edge of the ball and the edge of the bumper fascia.
