What Does the Black Wire for 12v Power in the ETBC7 Kit Do?
Question:
That black wire from bettery to 7way connector 12v hot lead 40amps, whats that for? It has a 40amps fuse, so i dont think it just charge trailers bettery!

The 12v hot lead on a 7 way connector like the one in the # ETBC7 does provide power to charge the battery, but also provides power to any of the trailer's interior lights, or can be used to power a jack.
