Best Bike Rack for Carbon Frame Electric Bike
Question:
I am planning to purchase a Hollywood Racks HR1400 Sport Rider but I have an e-bike with a carbon frame and they say not to place a support on the top bar. I believe there are add-on supports to attach to the seat post. Do you have such a thing?

You are correct. It is not recommended to use a frame mounted bike rack with a carbon frame bike. The Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Bar # HRBA-PRO is typically used to act as a top tube for a frame mounted bike rack when your bike has a top tube that angles downward. This could help you reduce the stress on your frame when transporting your bike on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HR1400Z but I don't think it is the best way to carry your carbon frame e bike.
Getting a bike rack with no frame contact such as the Kuat NV 2.0 Base # BA22B-BA02B is a big investment but if you are looking to carry up to 4 bikes and have the need to carry a carbon electric bike it is a great option.
