Why Does the RoadActive Suspension Kit for a 2019 Ford F-150 Lift the Truck
Question:
Hello, I just installed my Roadmaster active suspension standard and set it to 40. This raised my rear about 1in and front about 0.5in. Is there any problem with this? What is the max height this spring could raise the truck. I have a 2019 4x4 f150 2019. I want to make sure I am not putting undo stress on my suspension. I have my bilstein 6100 maxed out on height in front and I have the rear 5100s which are capable of the 1in height raise.

The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS3611-Y which is a fit for a 2019 Ford F-150 can raise the rear of the truck once installed and unloaded. This is known as pre-load. It is not uncommon for this system and acceptable. If you have the preset at 40%, you can reduce this to 25% to reduce the amount of lift.
