Weight Distribution Hitch for Towing Setup with 640 lbs Loaded Tongue Weight

Question:

Trying to decide between Equalizer 600 and 1000 lb TW and Fastway 800 lb trunnion WDH. Info: TV: Jeep Grand Cherokee, max tow 6200 lb, max TW 620 lb Trailer: GVWR 4300 lbs, TW loaded 590 lbs with 100 lb WDH attached. Weight behind rear axel of TV 50 lbs. Question: it appears I’m over the 600 lb rating of the Equalizer and going to 1000 lb rating may give too stiff of a ride?? Fastway 800 lb may be best? Your thoughts???

Your loaded tongue weight is going to put you into the range of the Equal-i-zer part # EQ37100ET that has a range of 600-1,000 lbs. We've had the chance to ask Equal-i-zer which system to use if the tongue weight is right at/above 600 lbs and they told us to go up to the # EQ37100ET which will work well and won't be too harsh.
