Do I Need Supplemental Braking for my 2003 Honda CR-V When Flat Towing

Looking to tow my 2003 crv behind my rv, I picked out a tow bar and baseplate, not sure what else I need, a little confused. Do I need trailer brakes if so what is best inexpensive way to get this done. cables ,wiring, etc.

The answer to your main question here is-yes. Most states and provinces require the use of a supplemental braking system when flat towing a vehicle like your 2003 Honda CR-V.
