Will Thule Gateway Pro 2-Bike Rack Fit 2013 BMX X5

Question:

Thule Gateway Pro 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms Hi. Can I use this bike rack on my BMW X5 2013 model, since that has a plastic spoiler at the back and would it be ok if I put the strap hooks on to that? If that if not possible, then please recommend which is best for my car. Thank you very much

I checked with Thule for you and can confirm that the trunk-mounted Thule Gateway Pro 2-Bike Rack # TH88VR will fit your 2013 BMW X5. In regards to the hooks, you will put the top ones in the gap at the front edge of the top of the hatch, over where the spoiler is.

The Thule Gateway Pro # TH88VR is a really nice bike rack, so I do recommend protecting your investment by adding the Thule Passive Security Strap for Trunk Mounted Bike Carriers # TH533.

This will loop around the rack and has a round puck end that will be stored inside your BMW's hatch as an anchor to keep the rack securely on your car.
