What is the Best Way to Remove a Light From Optronics Rubber Grommet # A54GB
Question:
How do I remove an Optronics A54GB 2 inch round clearance light? Do I push the lamp out of the grommet or remove lamp and grommet together. Do I push on the front or on the back? It is cold now, so I dont want to ruin anything by forcing it when the grommet is stiff.

When removing a light a lot depends on the space you have. If space is not an issue you can remove both the grommet and light together by pushing out from the back of the hole since the grommet would have gone in the other way originally. The light can also be pushed through the grommet from the back. Using some soapy water should help.
If the connection between light and trailer is particularly tight you might not have a choice but to take both out at the same time. You would need to be cautious given the force that will be required to remove the light. Waiting for warmer weather is a good idea.
