Is Bike Frame Adapter Bar Needed for Step-Through Bike on Swagman XC Bike Rack

I am interested in purchasing a bike rack for my car, product #64650, Swagman XC. I have a women’s Trek Verve trail bike. Would I also need to purchase the adapter bar since it is a low step through bike? Thank you

Since your bike has such a low step-through frame, you will need the Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes # UB01 with the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack # S64650.
The adapter bar will ensure your bike has a sturdy horizontal mounting point for the frame hooks to attach to.
The Swagman XC is an outstanding value, but the only other thing I would recommend is adding locks to protect your investments. To lock the rack to your hitch you will need the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin for Swagman Hitch Racks # S64029, or you can add a hitch lock and cable lock for your bikes with the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable for Swagman Bike Racks # S64031.
