How do I Install the Hopkins Smart Hitch when my 7 Pin Connector is Being Used Already

i have used the 7 pin connector for another application. How would i connect the camera? Thank You

Expert Reply:
There is no issue installing the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System part # HM50002 when you have used your 7 way for something else. This will actually connect to your 7 way wiring behind the bumper where your factory wiring plugs into the back of the 7-way connector.
It is an in line plug meaning that you unplug the connector put the t connector from the backup camera in the middle and reconnect. Even if you have done this with a different accessory this one can be plugged in right in line with that one.
