Hi Would this hook work for towing a 20 ton eager beaver with a 25 thousand pound skidder on?

As long as the total weight of the trailer and it's cargo are no more than 60,000-lbs then you can use the Curt Pintle Hook, Bolt-On, 60K # C48231 to connect the truck to the trailer. It sounds like you've got a 40,000-lbs capacity trailer, so this should work just fine.
