Will the Curt Echo Work If the Trailer Connector Is Not Straight
Question:
does the curt echo brake controller need to plug in facing the rear of the vehicle? the 7pin socket on my hitch is facing driver side, will that throw off the sensor on the brake controllers?

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 can be mounted in any direction and it will still work flawlessly. It was tested by the manufacturer with a pickup using an in-bed trailer connector which is perpendicular to the direction of travel.
