Pivot spring

I may have a solution for you, but I wasn't able to find any information on a Reese 27k hitch; however there is a Reese Elite series hitch with a 26,500-lbs capacity with the Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Wiring Harness - Single Jaw - 26,500 lbs part number 30871. If this it the hitch you have then you can use the Replacement Head Pivot Springs for Reese and Draw-Tite Signature or Elite Series 5th Wheel Hitches # 58229 to replace the pivot head spring in your hitch.
If you have a different hitch and can provide the model number of it, I am happy to reach out to Reese to see if there are replacement parts available for it.
