To refurbish the suspension on your 1970 Champ Stock Trailer you will need a handful of items.
For a suspension kit with equalizers order the etrailer # e99ZR kit including 2 standard steel equalizers where width is 7-3/4” from center of mounting hole to center of other mounting hole. Includes bolts and lock nuts sized for 1-3/4” wide springs.
Suspension kit does not have the size shackle straps that you need so you will want to order 8 TruRyde # TRSL275 straps measuring 2-3/4” on center.
For leaf springs order 4 Universal Group # e27SR, 6-leaf leaf springs, double-eyed, 26” long and 1-3/4” wide. Each spring rated for 2000 pounds equaling 4000 pound per axle. Note, suspension parts do not increase trailers overall GVWR. I realize your previous springs were 6-leaf, but leafs are rated by weight – not spring count.
If you need to replace the U-Bolts you will want to order Redline # 175130 square u-bolts for 1-3/4” leaf springs and 1-3/4” square axles along with Redline # 116308 u-bolt plates.
If you need replacement hangers order the Redline # H248 hanger package for tandem axles.
