Can the Curt Front Mount Hitch Support a Winch on a 1999 GMC Sierra Z71

Is this front hitch strong enough to use a portable winch that is mounted on a receiver hitch mount? Truck is a 99 GMC Z71

Yes, the Curt Front Mount Hitch, # 31302, will be strong enough to mount and use a receiver mount winch. This hitch has a 500 lb vertical load capacity and a 9,000 lb line pull capacity. This hitch has a standard 2 inch receiver that is compatible with most hitch mounted winch plates. It is important to check the axle capacity of your front axle as well to ensure you do not exceed the capacity of the front axle.
If you do not already have a winch plate, I recommend looking at the Curt Winch Mount Plate, # C31010. This plate has a universal design that supports most major winch models and roller fairleads. I have attached a photo showing the bolt hole dimensions for you.
