The team at Pop and Lock advise that the # PAL5400 locking tailgate handle is indeed compatible with the backup camera on your 2013 Tacoma. The camera installs in the slot in the back of the tailgate handle housing. There is a small knock-out panel on the underside of the housing that needs to be removed.

I have included a photo that shows where the camera mounts.
