The difference between the Saris # SA4026F Saris SuperClamp EX 4 Bike Platform Rack and the Saris
# SA4414B Freedom 4 Bike Platform Rack is how the bikes are held to the rack. The # SA4026F holds the bikes by the wheels/tires with no frame contact. This is good for carbon fiber framed bikes that don't do well in a carrier that has direct frame contact.

The # SA4414B Freedom holds the bikes from the top tube or down tube. This rack would be a good choice for cruiser-type bikes with fenders, as the wheel mount racks like the Superclamp won't work with fenders.

Both racks can tilt rearward with the bikes in place for easy cargo area access, but the SuperClamp includes a locking hitch pin and cable locks which are sold separately with the Freedom rack. The SuperClamp is also capable of carrying fat bikes with the addition of the # SA4419 adapter. Both racks have the same capacity, 60 lbs each for the 2 inner most bikes and 35 lbs apiece for the 2 outermost bikes.

I've linked to demonstration videos for both bike racks.
