Does My Truck Need Bluetooth to Operate the Curt Echo
Question:
I own a 2007 Cheve Silverado and I dont think it has blue tooth. Will this still work? Factory installed two package

Yes. The Curt Echo Mobile # C51180 does not require the vehicle to have Bluetooth, but you will need to have a Bluetooth enabled smart phone with either iOS 8.0 or newer or Android 4.4 or newer operating system. The Echo offers proportional braking for your trailer and senses the deceleration of your 2007 Chevy Silverado to apply the trailer brakes in proportion; you will need to download the Curt Echo app from your operating system's app store but that will only be used to set braking profiles and operate the manual override.
It's a really cool system; I've linked a few short review videos that we did that show more about how it works and because your Silverado has a factory 7 way it's a simple plug and play installation.
