Using 2-Way Trailer Connectors to Go From External Battery to Trailer

Hi, I was wondering about using Item # 337TC1012 and Item # PK12800 to create a system where I could plug an external 12v battery into our teardrop's internal dc system. I'm looking for a way to easily connect and then disconnect our battery when not in use. The battery would be on the tongue and the inlet on the exterior of the front wall of the trailer.

Are you asking about just using the connectors that come with the # PTW2997 to make a connection to a trailer battery? Or am I not understanding you all the way.

Yes the # PK12800 with the # 337TC1012 would give you an easy way to connect the circuits you mentioned. These connectors are very high amp rated as well too.
