Smaller Wheel and Tire for Replacing Trailer Tire Size 7.5x16
Question:
I have a horse trailer and the tires are 7.5x16 6 lug and the trailer sits to high. What tire and rim combination could we use to lower the overall height? We need a good quality tire and rim combination.

The 7.5R16 tires have a diameter of 31.8 so for a smaller diameter wheel and tire with the same wheel bolt pattern we have the tire size ST205/75R15 which has an outer diameter of 27.17 inches which we have with the part # TA23MR.
The tire weight capacity is 2,150 lbs so you'd need to make sure that would be enough for your trailer.
