Recommended Roof Rack Cargo Basket For 2017 Kia Soul

I have a 2017 Kia Soul Base and wish to purchase a Yakima Loadwarrior Cargo Basket 62”x39” #Y07070-74 I measured my roof and assume it will fit using crossbars, but I thought I’d confirm first. Will this basket fit? Thanks

We have not test fit a cargo basket that is as long as the 62" long Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket # Y07070-74 you are looking at but we have installed the 49" long Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket # TH859XT on a 2017 Kia Soul.

Based on the video of the Thule # TH859XT it does appear that there is enough clearance to fit a larger rack like the Yakima # Y07070-74. My recommendation would be to ensure the back of the cargo carrier stays far enough forward to not interfere with the rear antenna which will allow you plent of clearance to open your rear hatch.

If you decide to purchase and install the Yakima # Y07070-74 on your 2017 Kia Soul it would be great if you could post pictures to help future customers.
