Backup Alert and Fog Lights for a 2008 Ford F-250 Crew Cab

Question:

First request: 3156 will not work as a reverse light in my 2008 F-250 Crew Cab, 4 door, long bed pickup, 4WD. I pulled out a 921, contrary to what the owners manual calls for .I need a reverse light that is bright AND beeps LOUDLY to warn any one behind me as I backup. Can they be installed in pairs ? Any thoughts or product that will meet my needs ? Second request: Do you care fog light bulbs for 2008 Ford F-250 ? It is not 9145 as the owners manual calls for. Any ideas ?

On your 2008 Ford F-250, by any chance are there more than 1 places where reverse lights light up? That could account for different bulb types being listed.

You are correct though a 3156 will not fit in place of a 921. While there is no 921 backup light/alarm I do have an alternative solution for you. You could install # BK97DB under the rear of the truck. It taps into a reverse light circuit and when the truck is in reverse will put out a 97 decibel alert.

For fog lights I show that you need an H10 bulb. Take a look at the link I have provided that shows these fog light bulbs.
