Sway Control for Ford F-150 Towing 2018 KZ Escape 181
Question:
We have a 2016 Ford F-150 V6 and will be towing a 2018 KZ Escape181 travel trailer, weighing in loaded about 3500 lbs. My question is: do we require a Weight Distribution Sway Bar set up or just a sway bar set up. Our truck has a tow package of up to 6000 lbs.

A weight distribution system would not be a total requirement for your setup but it would be highly recommended as it will reduce sag, improve handling, and braking as well as do a great job stopping/preventing sway. The Reese Strait Line kit part # RP66083 would be your best option as it has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs and features only sway control that works to fight sway before it starts.
