How to Attach MAF50 TV Monitor Bracket To Inside Wall of Trailer

Question:

Hi Im looking at a wall mount tv bracket/arm - Item # MAF50. Weve got a utility trailer that were planning on using for a business and we wanted to affix a small monitor, maybe 19 to this arm. The wood inside the trailer is ~5/8. Would we be able to mount this arm to that without it going through the wood and into the outer shell of the trailer. Kinda new to this so if you all have another suggestion or product that would help us, Id be glad to hear of it. Thank you!

Typically, the inside wall of a trailer will have upright supports or ribs inside that act like wall studs. I'd recommend installing a horizontal piece of lumber as strapping that spans two of the wall studs and use hardware that's long enough to go through the lumber and the inside wall sheathing into the stud. You can add some construction adhesive like Liquid Nails to this piece of strapping for better adhesion. Then, attach the # MAF50 bracket to the strapping.

If you click the provided link, you can see a product demonstration video featuring the # MAF50 Wall Mount Bracket.
