Recommended Fifth Wheel for my 2019 Ram 1500 with a 6.5 Bed

2019 ram rebel 6.5 bed with air suspension. Have tow package but want a fifth wheel setup and can it be done.

We have a couple of great options. I recommend using a slider because of the limited cab clearance we see with the 6.5' beds. For a fifth wheel with rails inside the bed the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Ultra Slide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider part # DM6076P-UL-21K and the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Custom Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches part # DM8552032-71 is a great option.

For an option that leaves the bed free of bed rails the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider part # BWRVK3400-5W and the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # BWGNRK1319-5W is the one I would go with.

Both are good options and both work with or without the EcoDiesel. It really comes down to whether you want the rails in the bed or you want a nice clean bed.
