Truck Stake Bed Anchor Recommendation on 2005 Toyota Tundra Double Cab
Question:
The dimensions are fine, but my 2005 Tundra double cab does not have a lip on both sides of the stake bed to lock into. Wanted to make sure they fit prior to purchase and other websites have conflicting information. Most seem to indicate they fit the Tundra, but not the double cab.

I spoke with my contact at Erickson regarding the Erickson Heavy-Duty Anchor # EM01003 for your 2005 Toyota Tundra Double Cab, and she said the product you referenced will not work on your vehicle based on your description of the stake pockets.
An alternative to the Erickson Anchor would be the Putco Push-Up Tie-Downs # P99901. The width of the part that goes into the stake pocket measures 1-3/8 inches while the length that will extend into the hold is 3-1/2 inches. You will want to measure your stake pockets prior to purchase to ensure they fit.
I have included a link to the instructions for the proper installation of this product on your vehicle as well as a link to a video showing the installation of these items on a 2012 Ford F-150. While it is not the same model as your vehicle, the installation technique is similar.
