Question:
Is it possible to squeeze 3 bikes and no additional cargo to this carrier? I have a 2020 Ford Edge.

It may be possible to fit 3 bikes on the Curt 24x60 Cargo Carrier # C18152 but I have no way to confirm it since it is not what the cargo basket was designed for. In my mind the best chance of fitting would be to alternate the direction the bikes are facing and use ratchet straps # ETBMB-05852 to secure the bikes. The Curt # C18153 internal dimensions are 60-1/8" long x 23-3/4" wide x 5-1/2" deep, you can use the dimensions compared to the dimensions of your bikes to see if you will be able to fit all three bikes.
The option I recommend would be to purchase a dedicated bike rack like the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR which will easily allow you to fit 3 bikes without the guess work.
I included videos for all of the products I mentioned for you to take a look at.
If you are able to fit the 3 bikes on the cargo carrier I would love to see some pictures to help guide future customers.
