In regards to the Custer 6-LED Boat Navigation Light part # BOW-GR-R, there are three holes you need to drill for installation. There are two holes that will be drilled for mounting the actual light using hardware of your choosing and then one hole used to feed the wires through. The two mounting holes are spaced 2-1/4" apart on center and the base or footprint dimensions are 3-1/2" long x 2-1/4" wide.
